Exercise Activity Analysis

In life it is very important to exercise. Exercise is good for everyone, it does not matter what age you are. Most people do not realize how important exercising is. Exercising can be very beneficial to the heart, mind, and body. After getting exercise it is also is important to keep track of your physical activity, and by doing so you will know how much calories you have burned, etc.

In this paper I will be describing my current exercising habits, establishments that I have made as my 5 goals, what everyday changes might I make in order to increase the amount of energy that is expended in my day-to-day activities, the type of exercises that will work best for me, etc. I can be honest to say that I do struggle to exercise on a consistent basis, which means that exercising is not a habit for me, but I can say that I am starting to make effort by incorporating exercising into my daily routine and lifestyle.

I do not exercise on a daily basis, but I am happy to say that I am trying to make it a habit so that I will set a good example for my children so that they will know how important it is to exercise. What I can do to make exercise a habit is to set goals for myself. By doing so I will know the amount of exercising that I will like to be doing. I will set the goal to walk for 15 min each day, for at least 30 days at a challenging pace. I will also include a time to exercise in the day, which will be at 9 am on the weekdays and on the weekends, 2pm.

According to Physical Activity Super tracker (2012), it states that the only goal that I have established is my physical activity goal, but my goal is to establish physical activity for approxiamitaly150 min per week, and by doing so I am going to do moderate or vigorous activity. The goal that I have not established is my calories but by mastering my goal I am going to stay within my personal calorie goal of 1800. My goal for weight management is 129 lbs. My food group goal is to eat grains, iron, and vitamin D. My nutrients goal is calcium.

The physical Activity Super tracker also states that my total calories that I have burned on 12/30/12 are 89,102, 194. On 01/03/13 the super tracker states that I have burned 102, 395, and 194. For 01/04/13 I burned 89, 102, 194 calories. There are many of ways that you can make changes so that you can increase the amount of energy that is expended in your day- to – day activities. By a person increasing their energy that is expended in their daily activities will help him or her to lose weight and fat. You can lose weight and fat without going to a gym on a daily basis.

Throughout the day you can do random activities in order to get a good work out and you will not even know that you are working out. The way that I can make changes in order to increase the amount of energy that is expended in my daily activities is by parking my car away from my apartment and walking to it. I can also do leg lifts while I am brushing my teeth or washing the dishes. Another thing that I can do which is very fun, is when I go out I can dance. Dancing is a very good activity to do, and I love dancing.

The types and amounts of exercising that you do, all depends on your overall health, symptoms, and fitness level. When people feel as though they want to begin exercising programs, it is important to keep in mind to check with a doctor before beginning any exercise program so that he or she can make recommendations. The types of exercising that work best for me are aerobic activities, and also flexibility exercise. Aerobic activities include running, swimming, etc. flexibility exercising includes yoga and stretching which helps prevent injuries, reduce stiffness, etc.

The amounts of exercising that I prefer is 50 minutes per week will work best for me. In my opinion yes I do believe that I would be able to perform the activities that I listed year-round, the reason why I say this is because by doing the activities year-round would improve psychological health, and also my resilience. By doing the activities year around will also improve mood, and attitude. Yearly activities can help reduce risk of injuries, help keep thinking, and learning skills sharp, etc.

Conclusion: When thinking about how important exercising is for my overall health, it really made me realize that exercising is the key to being healthy and I am going to start doing them more often so that my body can stay fit. After doing my exercising I am going to keep track of my physical activity. By doing so I will know exactly what my physical activity progress is, by weekly, and monthly. I will also know how much calories I have burned, my daily intake, etc. Knowing this information will help in many of ways.
